New Orleans Saints Drew Brees Spotlight 11×14 Photograph (SGA Signature Engraved Plate Series) Framed Description
After a prolific college football career playing QB at Purdue University, Texas Native Drew Brees was chosen by the Chargers early in the 2001 NFL Draft. He left college as one of the most-decorated players in Purdue and Big Ten Conference history, establishing two NCAA records, 13 Big Ten Conference records and 19 Purdue University records. With San Diego, Brees earned the starting job in 2002, making the Pro Bowl in 2004. However, after injuring his shoulder at the end of the 2005 season, Brees signed with the Saints, where he was an immediate sensation, earning seven trips to the Pro Bowl and leading the Saints to their first Super Bowl and Championship. Since joining the Saints in 2006, he has led all NFL quarterbacks in touchdowns, passing yards and 300-yard games. He was the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year in 2004, the Offensive Player of the Year in 2008 and 2011, and the MVP of Super Bowl XLIV. Sports Illustrated named Brees its 2010 Sportsman of the Year. In other words, the guy is pretty good at what he does. Our unsigned SGA Signature Series includes an SGA Exclusive laser-engraved facsimile signature Plate and is available with 16×20 photograph, in this case a very cool Spotlight (color on B&W) shot of Drew doing what he does best – throwing the pigskin. Also included on plate is engraving of Drew’s ‘Super Bowl XLIV MVP’ Inscription and classic Saints logo. A great piece of Sports Art from one of the best in the game today.
